Ayr Holiday Park is the only Holiday Park in St.Ives itself. Being less than ½ a mile away, it is within easy walking distance from the beaches, town and harbour. St Ives is popular throughout the year with its beautiful scenery, unique character and sandy beaches. All this can be savoured as we are open all year round. Touring and camping at Ayr allows tents, motor-caravans and touring caravans to enjoy the views with almost all pitches having electric hook-up (16 amp), a tap and drain. The shower and toilet block is kept clean and maintained to a high standard with services such as showers, hot water, hair dryers, shaver points, 13 amp sockets (great for hair straightners), dishwashing sinks, chemical toilet disposal point, plus a waste and water point. Nowadays self-catering is the chosen holiday for the vast majority of holiday-makers in the UK because of the freedom it gives to enjoy your holiday as you want it. With a comfortable, well designed holiday home most people do little actual 'catering', preferring to sample the local restaurants or pubs where a variety of excellent food is available. No set meal-times and the choice of menu is your own - a real bonus with children. You can come and go as you please and on your return, relax in the privacy of your holiday home. Pets are accepted in some of the holiday caravans, all year in the main touring park and from September to June in the camping area.
