Introduction to Halsetown
Halsetown is a village two miles to the west of St Ives. Located on higher ground, it's campsites, holiday cottages, pub and riding schools offer fantastic views and a wonderful light. An ideal location to simply get away from it all, with the benefit of being just a short drive from the town and beaches of St Ives, or the stunning drive further west along the coast road past Zennor, Sennen and Lands End. West of St Ives, Zennor is a village that has changed little in the last century.
From the west of St Ives is the West Cornwall AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). The West Cornwall AONB has more ancient sites and monuments than anywhere else in Britain and includes Chysauster Ancient Village and The St Just Mining District. The South West Coast Path follows the wild and windy coastline through many of the Cornish Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the coastal path attracts thousands of walkers each year who want to discover these amazing and spectaculr coasts and cliffs.
