Travelling to St Ives and around the West Cornwall area

You have a choice of ways to get to St Ives, Cornwall.

By Road

The easiest route to St Ives is to join the M5 to Exeter.  You then take the A30 into Cornwall.  For help planning your route visit www.theAA.com and click on 'Driving Directions' for a tailor made travel plan.

By Rail

There are regular train services from London Paddington and if you don't want to miss a day of your well earned break then why not travel on the overnight riviera sleeper operated by First Great Western (www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk).  If you are travelling from the North or Midlands the main line services are operated by Cross Country Trains (www.crosscountrytrains.co.uk). If you requuire any additional information on train times and services then contact National Rail Enquiries (www.nationalrail.co.uk).  The final leg of the train journey to St Ives will include a change at St Erth Station to join the picturesque coastal branch line.  The train leaves St Erth and stops at Lelant Saltings, Carbis Bay and St Ives.

By Air
