How to get here

You have a choice of ways to get to St Ives, Cornwall.

By Road

The easiest route to St Ives is to join the M5 to Exeter.  You then take the A30 into Cornwall this takes you over Bodmin Moor. The A30 is mainly dual carriageway.

Birmingham - 4 hours

Bristol - 3 hours

Sheffield - 5 hours

York - 7 hours

By Coach

By Rail

There are regular train services from London Paddington and if you don't want to miss a day of your well earned break then why not travel on the overnight riviera sleeper operated by First Great Western.  If you are travelling from the North or Midlands the main line services are operated by Cross Country Trains. If you requuire any additional information on train times and services then contact National Rail Enquiries.  The final leg of the train journey to St Ives will include a change at St Erth Station to join the picturesque coastal branch line.  The train leaves St Erth and stops at Lelant Saltings, Carbis Bay and St Ives.

By Air

Newquat Airport is approximately 50 minutes drive from St Ives.  Destinations include Stanstead, Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, Dublin, Edinburgh and others.

By Sea

Park and Ride Ferry to St Ives.

There will be a Ferry Service available from Hayle Harbour to St Ives, this is a Park and Ride Service, there will be Free all day Parking In Hayle Harbour for the Park & Ride Customers Only 

This Service will begin on 12th April through to September, this will be a daily service operating 7 days per week. 

This will operate from approximately 9.00am till late subject to tides and weather conditions. The fares are £6.00 per Adult and £5.00 per child each way Family tickets are available
